From the heart of Kattapana —
premium cardamom for the world.
Single-origin green cardamom sourced from the Idukki highlands — graded by pod size and colour, FSSAI-certified, and shipped to wholesale buyers across the Gulf, South Asia and beyond.
Rooted in Kattapana — India’s premier cardamom district.
Kattapana sits at the southern edge of Idukki district, where the Western Ghats rise sharply and the air carries cardamom all year long. This is where Alham Spices is rooted.
Idukki accounts for the majority of India’s green cardamom output, and Kattapana is its heartland. The elevation, rainfall pattern and mineral-rich soil here produce pods with the dense aroma and bright colour that export markets pay a premium for. Every lot is FSSAI-certified, graded to buyer specification, and dispatched with full traceability to its origin in the Idukki highlands.
“Single origin, farm grown — picked green, graded by size and colour.”
A cardamom house, first.
Green cardamom is our centre — by size, colour and grade. Around it sits a tight pantry of seeds, masala, oil and companion estate spices. Every lot is verified and traceable.
Audit-grade on every shipment.
Our primary concern is the integrity of the product and the safety of our consumers, employees and farmers — controlled to international standards and traceable to the plantation.
Sample to shipping documents in four moves.
Built around how Gulf and EU buyers actually order — pro-forma upfront, lab analysis with the lot, FOB or CIF on request.
Eight country buyers. Three regulatory regimes.
Eighty percent of every harvest leaves Cochin port for the Gulf. The balance moves to South Asia and our domestic wholesale network in Kerala.
Real hands. Real harvest.
From the highland farms of Kattapana to the grading house — the cardamom you source from Alham begins here.
